Camera assistants frequently face a common problem on set — their cart is set up to take either a Moy/Mitchell head or a camera, but the situation calls for the other. The X-Plate solves this by combining a Moy (Mitchell) mount and a universal 120mm snap plate receiver into a single, permanently mounted solution. No adapters, no bolting anything on, no wasted time.
The snap plate docks with a satisfying ratchet click and releases via the lever mechanism. Heads mount exactly as they would on any standard Moy/Mitchell fitting — rigorously tested across a wide range of heads, old and new.
Mounting holes follow the standard spacing used by major cart manufacturers and are compatible with the Irwin Cine Spinner.

CNC machined in the UK from 6082 aluminium alloy, 304 stainless steel, and aerospace grade brass.

Shipping Fees
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot automatically group two distinct orders placed separately, shipping fees will apply to each individual order, however if you contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Shipping
We use UPS to send our products. If you have a preferred delivery method not listed on our site then please get in touch.
We have done our best to be as eco friendly and efficient as we can whilst still getting your order to you in good time.
Packing
Packing could take up to 24 hours after receipt of payment, providing it's in stock.
Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected. However if your item arrives damaged, please get in contact immediately and take photos so we can investigate.
We use eco friendly packaging which can all be recycled.
Returns
We cannot accept returns on customised orders unless the item arrives damaged or faulty.
If your item is not customised, you may return it up to 14 days from it being delivered and we will refund you in full as long as it arrives to us in the same condition we sent it to you in.
Return postage is to be paid by the customer unless it can be proved the item is damaged or faulty.
